We would like to reaffirm that we feel this village is extremely capably managed and compliment you, the staff and the Board for providing a first rate facility which in our opinion is the best possible value for a retirement village. Having been in residence for just on 7 years,we are very happy with our choice and this has been due to having a quality residence and full confidence in the way issues have been handled. Please accept our appreciation for the effort you and the staff contribute to our welfare and know that all your assistance is noticed.
Emailing you Jeanette to say the biggest thank you for all your work in the past months in getting us settled in our new home. We can't praise you enough in the way you helped us make the right decisions which helped so very much. Not an easy job you have coping with so many people moving into the village then also managing their settling in. Amazing Jeanette how smoothly you make it all happen.
This has made our move to the village a relatively good one. Ha not the unpacking.
Also a huge thanks to all the workmen who do everything so willingly. Luke, both Ians, Greg and Jason all so helpful. Ian who even carried our heavy bird bath to set up at the front door.
The garden that already looks amazing and more than we expected, we totally appreciate all the work that you and everyone has done to make our move here a very happy one.
Thanks you for all the time and effort you put into having our home ready for us to move into on "settlement day". It was really appreciated. Thank you also for the box of goodies you left on our doorstep on Friday. What a lovely surprise after a very tiring day.
On a day we seemed to be unpacking for ever, what a lovely surprise it was to accept a most beautifully presented hamper containing a collection of delectable goodies.
Don & I would like to say how much we have appreciated your assistance in making our move as stress free as possible. We would also like to thank Christina, Ian, Shayne and the whole team for their cheerful, helpful and friendly manner which has gone a long way to welcoming us to Eastwood. We know we will enjoy this next phase of our lives.
As new owners of a new villa at Eastwood Retirement Village we are more than happy about the well built home, and all the friendly service we were given.
Jeanette’s a real gem to the village, a great PR person, and only to willing to help you accomplish your new home.
Wendy and Ian joined the team and also very helpful, as all the outside managing crew are.
One happy, friendly, obliging office.
Thank you.
To Jeanette, Wendy, Ian
Thank You,
We would like to express our appreciation for having made our transition to Eastwood Retirement so easy.
You are creating a wonderful environment here and we look forward to many happy years in this community.
Your careful planning and thoughtfulness have made this a great place to be.
With best wishes,
John & Fay
Many thanks for your welcome and kindness upon our adventure into our new home. It is greatly appreciated and the flowers a lovely gift.
This journey began after I suffered a heart attack. We (myself and wife Jess), who has dicky knees were living in a house with a staircase and a reasonable amount of maintenance.
We heard about “expressions of interest” for a new retirement village and arranged for an interview with Tom, and Jeanette Davidson.
We subsequently had a home visit from the “Reps” with a result that we were so impressed with the presentation we signed up with a $1000 deposit - we had made a commitment.
The next hurdle was to dispose of our house which took some time with more visits from Tom and Jeanette. A garage sale, various Op Shops, car boot sale, adverts in the local press, relatives and friends and we managed to reduce the overburden.
Watching our new home being constructed and the official opening of the Village brought a feeling of pride and joy to us.
We moved in on the 31st January 2011 and have had the pleasure of watching the development going on around us.
Maintenance to our home is (if needed) carried out promptly and efficiently by friendly qualified tradesmen.
For entertainment we have Book Club, Art classes, Exercise Class, fortnightly afternoon tea and monthly Happy Hour.
We are happy and contented with the change of address and lifestyle that we have generated.
Dear Jeanette,
I would like to express my appreciation, and I am sure I speak on behalf of all who attended the happy hour, for the wonderful spreads put on display for everyone.
The ladies who contributed should be lauded on high for such a divine presentation, the food was beautiful.
EVERYONE in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the food, drink and especially the friendly, chatty atmosphere. I feel the visitors who were there to meet the current residents, would have been impressed with the turnout and the reception that they received.
I, personally, have not enjoyed such a social function in years!
Sincerely, well done all the marvelous ladies for such a brilliant combined effort - you are well appreciated.
